The Company

We are a small firm located in northern Michigan. The beauty of working with the Internet is that it allows us to work in a remote location and still stay in daily communication with clients, vistors and customers around the world.

How We Began

Northern Michigan is an important deciduous fruit-growing region, and our initial motivation was to help the local growers use the Internet to reach the retail market. The challenge of taking fresh fruit to market over the Internet turned out to be the perfect crucible for honing our skills as Internet marketers. When people ask us what we do, we say "it's all an excuse to hang out in the orchard without having to do any manual labor." The Internet provides us with an opportunity to utilize a variety of skills from other fields, and harness them into services which make a genuine difference for our customers.

  Right from the start we saw the potential of the Internet as the "great leveler." It permits small businesses to compete effectively with the corporate interests and their monstrous ad budgets. We want to see the Internet bring a greater diversity of quality products and services to the consumer's attention and help small businesses compete effectively and eficiently in the global marketplace.
